DENSE MORNING FOG: Dense fog remains in place for the region Wednesday morning. Showers creep in as well from mid to late morning as moisture arrives from the south. It’s a milder day with periods of showers lasting through the evening. Temperatures slowly rise as well through the afternoon and evening. High temperatures occur at midnight, something that doesn’t happen very often. Highs are in the upper 50s to lower 60s. Readings continue to slowly rise overnight, and the breezes pick up. Expect some showers still through the night.
SHOWERS STAY: Beyond Christmas, we keep daily shower chances throughout the region on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Highs begin well above average too. Expect readings in the middle 50s Saturday, and then in the upper 50s to lower 60s on Sunday. Monday cooler air slips in, but temperatures are still mild. Highs are in the upper 40s, and then back into the 50s on Tuesday.
