Three injured in Codorus Township car accident

CODORUS TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- Three people were injured in a car accident on Route 851 in Codorus Township in York County.

The Lineboro Fire Department said the accident was called in around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. One of the drivers was an off-duty police officer from Westminster, Maryland, who was driving a police vehicle.

The officer was driving downhill, and the driver of a white sedan with one passenger was driving uphill.

The fire chief said it is still unclear who was at fault. All three people were taken to York Hospital. Their injuries are non-life-threatening.
