2 hurt after vehicle crashes into 2 homes in Mifflin County

GRANVILLE TOWNSHIP, Pa.–Two people were hurt when their vehicle crashed into two homes in Mifflin County on Saturday night.

It happened along the100 block of Klondyke Drive in Granville Township.

James Long Jr., of Lewistown, was behind the wheel when his vehicle went off the road,  crashed into and went through one home and then became lodged into a second house, according to the Granville Township Police Department.

Both Long and his passenger, Karen Long, were taken to a local hospital for treatment, police said.

The American Red Cross is assisting the family who was displaced.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
