New Middletown Borough Police Contract

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – A Middletown Borough Police officer faces charges following an incident last Thursday, December 24, at about 1:30 am in the 100 block of Pine Street.

Agents of the Criminal Investigation Division of the Dauphin County District Attorney’s Office today filed charges of Disorderly Conduct and Public Drunkeness against Sgt. James Bennett,

The case was referred to the DA’s Office for investigation by Chief John Bey. Bennett was off duty at the time of the incident. He had attended a party on Pine Street when he became disorderly on the sidewalk outside of the party.
