Three from Harrisburg charged in prostitution bust at West Shore motel

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. – Three people, all from Harrisburg, face charges in a prostitution bust at a West Shore motel.  It happen at around 3 pm on Wednesday, December 30.  The West Shore Regional Police Department and the Swatara Township Police Department from Dauphin County made the arrests at a motel along the 800 block of North Front Street in the Borough of Wormleysburg.

Melissa Marolyn Akers, 21, of Disbrow Street, Harrisburg was arrested for Promoting Prostitution and Prostitution. Toby John Murchison, 36 also of Disbrow Street was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia and Wayne Michael Fields, 24, also of Disbrow Street was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance (Heroin) and Drug Paraphernalia.

All three were transported to the Cumberland County Prison for processing and arraignment.
