Victim in Harrisburg’s 2nd homicide of 2016 identified

HARRISBURG, Pa. – City police identified the victim in Harrisburg’s 2nd homicide of the new year as 29 year old Eric J. Byrd.  Police found Byrd at about 9:25 am Thursday, lying on the ground in Ella Alley, near South 15th and Berryhill Streets. He had been shot multiple times.

Byrd was rushed to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
