Woman struck by hit and run driver in Shippensburg

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. — A pedestrian was struck by a minivan in Shippensburg and police are looking for the driver. It happened Sunday around 8:30pm. The female victim was crossing East King Street near Queen St. when she was struck in the crosswalk by a silver minivan. The driver, described as a woman between 30 and 40 years old, did stop and stayed with the victim for a while, but then left without providing information. The pedestrian suffered a fractured wrist and a sprained ankle.

Police say there was also a young female passenger in the silver minivan. Anyone with information about the identity of the driver can contact Shippensburg Police.
