A St. Louis dad decided to go the corporate route when his son asked for an advance on his allowance.

The 6-year-old’s request for $20 was met with this denial letter from the CEO of “DAD Savings and Loan.”

The letter was complete with the institution’s letterhead and slogan, “Because, Apparently I Look Like I’m Made of Money.”

The denial cited the son’s insufficient funds and a history of not doing chores.

But the letter did say he can appeal to the complaint department. That would be Mom.

The letter was posted to Reddit on Thursday, quickly going viral.

The boy’s dad clarified that his son does not get a $20 allowance, that was just the price of a toy he wanted.
