YORK, Pa. - Families in York enjoyed some icy fun in downtown York on Saturday. Children of all ages came out to take a ride down a 40-yard slide made completely of ice.  It was one of the main attractions at the York Festivice. The free ice festival also featured food, games and entertainment.

People came from all over to experience the festival dedicated to ice. Kelley Waninger is from South Carolina, and brought her family to the festival.

"We're having an amazing time," Waninger said,  "It's great for kids,  it's great for adults,  and they're having a great time on the ice slide  and the bounce houses.  So, it was a wonderful day for a wonderful event. "

Parts of the proceeds from the event will go to the Special Olympics.
