COLUMBIA, Pa.– A man, wanted for stabbing another man to death on Friday night, has been taken into custody by police.

41-year old Ronald Lee Sheetz was found at an undisclosed location in Columbia, Lancaster County on Sunday morning. Police had been seeking him since Friday night. Sheetz is accused of stabbing 44-year old Michael Oberdorff, Sr. to death inside his home on the 300-block of S. Second Street.

Oberdorff’s wife told police Sheetz was an ex-boyfriend and that he and her husband got into a fight. Oberdorff later died at the hospital.

Sheetz was arraigned and charged with one count of Criminal Homicide. He was taken to Lancaster County Prison, and is not eligible for bail.

Investigators continue to gather evidence and conduct interviews. They say they are still exploring the dynamics of the relationships between Ronald Sheetz, Michael  Oberdorff, and his wife. Anyone with information about the personal lives and interactions of these individuals is asked to contact the Columbia Police Department at (717) 684-2120.
