PEQUEA TOWNSHIP, Pa.- Southern Regional Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred around 7:30 p.m. Saturday along the 2100 block of Millersville Road (Route 741) in Pequea Township.
According to polcie a 38-year-old man from Lancaster was driving a Black Chevy Blazer west bound on Millersville Road and a 33-year-old man from Pequea was driving a red Ford Taurus east bound on Millersville Road.
Officials say the two vehicles collided head on.
Police say the man in the Taurus was pronounced dead at the scene and the man in the Blazer was cut from the vehicle by firefighters and taken by EMS to the hospital with serious injuries.
A portion of Route 741 was closed for nearly five hours during the investigation.
