Saturday night shooting in Lancaster leaves one man injured

LANCASTER, Pa- Police are investigating a shooting that happened around 9 p.m. Saturday.

According to police, the shooting occurred inside a residence along the first block of West Strawberry Street.

When police searched the building they found that the suspect had already fled. Police collected evidence and interviewed witnesses and the victim.

A twenty-four-year-old man was transported to the hospital and treated for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds to his abdomen and upper thigh.

Police believe this was not a random act of violence and are still investigating.
