HAMPDEN TOWNSHIP, Pa. - A local pup is receiving an outpouring of support from a community through Yoga. People joined a 90-minute yoga class for little Milo at the Hampden Township Parks and Recreation. The yogis came together to help support medical care for the chihuahua mix. Each person paid $20 for the class.

Milo came to the Central Pennsylvania Animal Alliance in October severely emaciated, dehydrated, and infested with worms. His legs are also deformed.

His foster mom is now nursing him back to health with help from the alliance and the community.

"Milo needed some extra support and some extra help today," supporter Jaime Zurat said, "so, she organized this fundraiser in his honor to try and raise funds to help with his medical bills and some of his other special needs that he has."

Milo is currently receiving weekly swimming therapy to strengthen his legs before he getting a special doggie wheelchair.
