LITITZ - Founded in 1746, Linden Hall School for girls is the oldest independent boarding school in the country.   The students represent 10 foreign countries and 13 states.   This week's Sadowski Spotlight shines on the girls basketball team that is thriving.

"We have a girl from the Himalayas, we have a couple of girls from Africa but they speak very good English," stated Head Coach Bob Kauffman.  "I like to say there is no chinese symbol for baseline so we have to start with some very, very basic things."
"I think last year was the start of our success," said Linden Hall Senior Kassidy Maragne. "Our basketball team wasn't really that well-known."
The Lions are certainly making a name for themselves this year.  They won 12 of their first 13 games and are high up in the District 3 "AA" power ratings.
"They are a special group of girls,"  Kauffman added.  "As I said, they have everything you need to compete at a high level.  We really don't have any limits as to what we can do as a team."
