CALM AND COLD: High pressure is taking full control of the area, meaning we stay dry. However, since it is positioned to our north, we’ll remain cold and below average in the temperature department. Skies are mainly sunny after some morning clouds. Highs are in the upper 20s to lower 30s. Tonight, skies are mostly clear, and some clouds filter in toward daybreak. Overnight temperatures fall into the upper teens to lower 20s.
NEXT WEEK: The pattern turns much quieter through early next week, but it won’t come without some small winter weather concerns. Monday brings partly cloudy skies, and temperatures begin to moderate. Readings are in the lower to middle 30s. Tuesday a weak system approaches, and could bring a light wintry mix to the region. Highs are in the lower to middle 30s. Wednesday is a quiet day with partly cloudy skies.
