SWATARA TOWNSHIP, Pa.–A woman was attacked early Monday as she was walking to work in Dauphin County, according to police.

It happened shortly after 2:30 a.m. near Pritchard Court and Chambers Hill Road in Swatara Township.

The woman told police she was walking to work when a man approached her, grabbed her by the hood and told her to “get the f%@k over here.” The woman was able to get away from her attacker, but fell while she was running and sustained scratches to her face, according to police reports.

The victim didn’t get a good look at the suspect, but told investigators he was wearing a dark hoodie and dark clothes.

The woman told police that just prior the attack–a dark colored vehicle, possibly a Mazda, passed her twice. She saw the vehicle complete a U-turn and pass her a few moments before she was assaulted.

Police checked the area around Chambers Hill Road but didn’t find the suspect’s vehicle or possible crime scene.

Anyone with information about this attack is asked to call Det. Haney at Swatara Police Department at (717) 564-2550.
