Steelton extends snow emergency through Friday

STEELTON, Pa.–Steelton borough has extended its snow emergency until 6 p.m. on Jan. 29. Borough officials say the extension is necessary to designate additional no parking zones to facilitate snow removal.

Front Street is open for parking in the following areas:

  • Parking is open on North Front Street from Gibson to Locust on both sides.
  • Parking is open on South Front Street from the 600 block to the 800 block on both sides.
  • All of Front Street will be open to parking as of 9pm this evening.

The following streets will be designated No Parking on Thursday, January 28th

  • Swatara Street
  • Pine Street

The following streets will be designated No parking on Friday, January 29th

  • Second Street from Pine Street to Gibson Street
