City announces snow removal schedule for Thursday

Mayor Kim Bracey has announced that snow removal will take place on the following streets in downtown York. Traffic will be restricted during this operation and No Parking restrictions will be in place. Removal operations will begin on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 7:00 P.M.

All snow will be removed in the street along the curbline.


THURSDAY, JANUARY 28, 2016 (Starting at 7:00 P.M.)

Market Street – From Pershing Avenue to Duke Street

George Street – From North Street to King Street

If time allows: Philadelphia Street from George Street to Beaver Street.

The Snow Emergency remains in effect so all cars should be off the street.

Snow Hauling will continue nightly from 7:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M.

Streets closings and No Parking restrictions will be in place.
