CONEWAGO TOWNSHIP, Pa.–A Honey Brook man was arrested Sunday after he went on a rampage at a York County business, causing over $500,000 in damage, according to a news release from the Northern York County Regional Police Department.
Robert W. Fisher, 25, is charged with two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of theft by unlawful taking, criminal mischief, recklessly endangering another person and criminal trespass.
Officers responded to a business located along the 200 block of Cross Farm Lane in Conewago Township around 5:18 p.m. for a report of a man damaging the property.
Investigators discovered the man, later identified as Fisher, had been at the business to plow snow. Instead, Fisher began driving around in a “jockey truck” and rammed numerous new Harley Davidson motorcycles that were at the business for shipment.
After hearing the commotion, an employee went to see what was happening when Fisher nearly ran him down, police said. Another employee was also nearly struck by Fisher.
Security cameras captured the entire incident, including the part when Fisher drove a fork lift off of a loading dock, police said.
It is unclear how much damage Fisher caused, but police believe it will be in excess of $500,000.
Fisher was arrested and taken to York County Prison where he has since posted $30,000 bail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 1.
