LANCASTER, Pa. – City police arrest a suspect in the Thursday evening shooting death of Ahmeen Clanton.  Kendell Charles Foster, 24, has been identified as the person who shot and killed Clanton.  Clanton’s death is the first homicide in the city this year.

Investigators determined that Foster and another male were engaged in an argument with Clanton in the 300 block East King Street. The men all walked to the area of S. Shippen Street and Howard Avenue, where Foster pointed a handgun at the victim and fired one time. Clanton sustained a fatal gunshot wound to his head.

Foster was arrested early this morning at a residence in the 300 block of E. King Street on an unrelated PA State Parole warrant. After further investigation, DetectiveTom Ginder charged Foster with one count of Criminal Homicide.
