YORK TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Women and teens from across the state showed off their talents, vying for a pageant crown on Saturday night. 21-contestants stepped onto the pageant stage at the York County School of Technology for the York County Pageants Program.

Each young woman showcased their skills along with their personalities. They also answered questions before a set of judges, which included FOX43's Jaime Garland.

Last year's Miss White Rose City, Caroline Jones, says there's more than a title that comes with the crown.

"The Miss America Organization is actually the largest scholarship provider to young women in the whole world," Jones said, "and in addition to the scholarship and the academics, service is a huge part of it. So, I have a personal platform , it's called the read to succeed project that promotes early childhood education and literacy."

The titles given out included White Rose City Outstanding Teen, Susquehanna Valley Outstanding Teen, York County Outstanding Teen, Miss Susquehanna Valley, Miss First Capital, Miss White Rose City and Miss York County.

The winners are:

Miss White Rose City Outstanding Teen 2016: Natalie Shawley

Miss Susquehanna Valley Outstanding Teen 2016: Morgan Harrar

Miss York County Outstanding Teen 2016: Kaley Leas

Miss First Capital 2016: Nicole McCleary

Miss Susquehanna Valley 2016: Rebecca Potts

Miss White Rose City 2016: Abigail Bachman

Miss York County 2016: Michelle Nelson
