Best Buy announced today that it is no longer accepting television or computer monitors at its Pennsylvania stores for recycling because it is imposing a new nationwide recycling drop-off fee on these devices.

Pennsylvania law prevents these recycling fees, and collecting TVs and monitors free of charge is no longer economically feasible due to increased recycling costs and significant increases in volume.

Best Buy in PA will continue to accept laptop computers, computer peripherals such as printers, speakers, keyboards and other devices that plug into a computer at no charge. For more information, visit www.bestbuy.com/recycling.
