LANCASTER, Pa.--
A Lancaster bar could lose its liquor license. Molly's Pub owner Anthony Maglietta is facing aggravate assault charges according to court documents. It said he was involved in a fight in December of 2015.
According to the state liquor law, a license can be revoked by an administrative judge because of assault charges. Charges also play a factor when attempting to renew a liquor license, according to state liquor control board communication director Elizabeth Brassell.
"Things like citations, criminal charges, those sort of things would all speak to character of an individual associated with a liquor license," Brassell said.
As of now, Molly's Pub has to renew their license. Brassell said, as of Friday, they had not submitted their renewal for the license.
