LANCASTER, Pa- A Lancaster jury convicted a city man Wednesday of child sex abuse, more than a decade after the repeated crimes.

Andrew Todd Frantz,33,  was convicted of four felonies and a misdemeanor, following the 3-day trial which began Monday. He was convicted of statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor, corruption of minors and two counts of involuntary deviant sexual intercourse.

The panel deliberated for about an hour Wednesday morning before returning the verdict of guilty on all counts.

Frantz, is currently in  Lancaster County Prison on $400,000 bail and will be sentenced when a background check is completed in about 3 months.

According to the Assistant District Attorney’s office, the victim, who was 14 when the abuse began in 2003, continued until 2005, testified Tuesday, along with all other witnesses.

The abuse happened at a home in the 300 block of North Plum Street, beginning when Frantz was 20.
