HARRISBURG, Pa. -For the first time in over 30 years, Harrisburg City Police Officers are not working at the Great American Outdoor Show. Mayor Eric Papenfuse and the NRA could not come to an agreement about how much the officers will be paid. Papenfuse was asking for a $20.00 pay increase for officers.

"We reached out and worked with Dauphin County and we have a lot of police officers from several townships in Dauphin County who are providing security. Just as many as we had last year," said Kyle Jillson, spokesman for NRA.

There are about 40 officers working during the nine day event.  The NRA says they would be happy to work with city officers again someday.

Harrisburg City Police Officers have filed a grievance against the city for $95,000.
