Man accused of touching young girl in Dauphin County

SUSQUEHANNA TWP., Dauphin County, Pa. — A Shade Gap man is charged with sexually abusing a young girl in Dauphin County. Dale Saunders, 41, is accused of molesting the victim in December of 2012 when she spent the night at his house. The victim told police that Saunders invited the girl into his bed, kissed the back of her head, rubbed her stomach, then lifted her nightgown and touched her private parts.

Saunders allegedly told the victim not to tell anyone “because he could get in trouble and go to jail,” according to court documents.

Saunders is charged with unlawful contact with a minor, indecent assault and corruption of minors.
