PERRY COUNTY, Pa. – Duncannon Borough issues a boil advisory for 1522 customers served by the borough’s water system. The boil advisory is effective immediately.
An official says routine tests revealed one of the borough’s four wells had a zero chlorine level. DEP regulations requires the borough to issue a boil water advisory as a precaution.
The borough manager says the advisory will remain in effect at least through the weekend pending the results of further tests on the water supply.
