LANCASTER, Pa.–A Lancaster jury is deliberating the case of a Manheim Township man accused of killing a man after an altercation inside a convenience store.
Mathew S. Morales, 25, is charged with homicide for the June 2014, shooting death of 25-year-old Xavier Garriga.
Morales is accused of shooting Garriga as he walked along New Holland Avenue in Manheim Township. Prosecutors said the two men had exchanged words in a nearby Turkey Hill store.
The jury started deliberating about 11 a.m. Friday, following closing arguments.
