The National Weather Service in State College, PA has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the entire region from 2 P.M. Monday until 1 A.M. Tuesday for a wintry mix of precipitation.
Accumulating snow is expected Monday afternoon and evening, transitioning to a wintry mix during the evening. The mix is expected to change to rain overnight. Minor to light accumulations of snow, followed by ice accumulations, are expected for the region, and it will make travel difficult at times. Heavy rain is expected after the changeover to plain rain, and this brings flooding concerns to the region through Tuesday.
