UPDATE: Woman struck and killed by car in Fairview Township identified

UPDATE- According to the coroner’s office, 45-year-old Nita Stout was walking on the shoulder of Lewisberry Road when she was struck.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday morning at 8:00 a.m. at Lehigh Valley Hospital.

Fairview Township police are investigating.


FAIRFIEVIEW TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The coroner’s office has been called to the scene of a deadly accident in York County.

The  Coroners office says that a 40-year-old woman was out walking along the 900 block of Lewisberry Road near the  intersection of Navoo and Lewisberry Road in Fariview Township around 7:00 a.m. Saturday morning.

Fairview Township Police are investigating .

The woman’s identity will be released after family is notified.
