Fire destroys building in Adams County

OXFORD, TWP, Pa- An overnight fire destroyed a building under construction in Adams County.

Officials say fire crews were called to the Brethern Home Community in 2900 block of Carlisle Pike just before 2 a.m. Saturday.

Propane heaters were being used at this building.  Witnesses reported hearing explosions from propane cylinders on the job site. The building was to be a new Alzimers building projected to open this summer.

No one was injured and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
