New Developments in Prison “Fight Club”

YORK, Pa. — Two former York County prison guards convicted of running a “Fight Club” that pitted inmates against each other and having them perform other humiliating tasks will serve 2 years probation. David M. Whitcomb, 30, of Hellam Township and Daniel H. Graff, 40, of York, were convicted in January on charges of official oppression, conspiracy and harassment, a summary offense. The sentence called for 1 year probation for each charge and they will be served consecutively. Both will also have to put in over 100 hours community service and pay fines.

A third guard, Mark Haynes, was cleared of the charges.
