SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Five year old Jay Dawson was the MVP of the Shippensburg vs. Bloomsburg  Girls Basketball game on Wednesday night. At halftime, the school revealed his Make- A- Wish. He and his family will be heading to Disney.

"Jay's condition actually began right before he was two years old and he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Afterr surgery and still diagnosed with epilepsy and the neurological condition that he suffers from and where the tumor was qualified us for the wish," said Jay's mother, Tiffany.

"It's so exciting to see that the money we have raised over the last 4 years has really come to light in this awesome way," said Gabrielle Bracket, a student athlete who helped make the dream come true.

Shippensburg says," Make-A-Wish funded the wish. Ship got to host the reveal because the school donated over $5,000 to Make-A-Wish!"
