WATTS TOWNSHIP, Pa.–Pennsylvania State Police recovered nearly $17,000 worth of stolen high end electronics during a traffic stop in Perry County on Friday. The electronics were stolen from multiple Best Buy stores in western and central Pennsylvania, according to state police reports.

Troopers stopped a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed along Route 322 East near the Route 11/15 Exit in Watts Township on Friday. Investigators spotted the stolen goods inside the vehicle and obtained a search warrant.

Police charged 24-year-old Aantwon J. Williams, of Willingboro, NJ; 28-year-old Jasmond J. Welcome, of Chester and 25-year-old Charles Chevalier Jr., of Philadelphia with receiving stolen property and unlawful possession of retail theft instruments.

All three were taken to Perry County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 4.
