BERKS COUNTY, Pa. – The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop L, Hamburg, continues their search for Charles John Albert, III,  51, wanted for Abuse of Corpse.

On  April 19, 2014, the deceased body of Alishia Eller was discovered in a dirt lot near the intersection of Beagle Road and Musselman Road in Berks County. It was determined that Alishia Eller died of a heroin overdose.  Investigators learned that Eller was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Albert at the time of the overdose. When she became unresponsive, Albert allegedly pulled over into the dirt lot, removed Eller from his vehicle; leaving her face down, he fled the scene without summoning medical help.

Albert, III was interviewed and confessed to his actions. Charges were filed  on September 4, 2014, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

So far every attempt to located Albert has been unsuccessful.  He is also wanted on two other warrants which include indecent assault and failure to pay child support. He also has failed to register with Megan’s Law as required.

Albert is a white male, 5 feet 8 inches, about 260 pounds with hazel eyes. His last known address was 24 Main Street, Stouchsburg, Berks County. Charles may be traveling as a food vendor at fairs and festivals.
