A fire in an apartment building in Elizabethtown Borough broke out this morning around 9:40 a.m.
The building, along West High Street in Lancaster County, was a 4 unit building with a fire that was mainly in the attic. There is smoke and water damage to the structure.
A total of 8 people will be displaced by the blaze, but 2 guinea pigs were rescued from the fire.
The American Red Cross is assisting those who were displaced, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
