LANCASTER, Pa.–After three hours of deliberation Thursday, Lancaster County jurors convicted 39-year-old Jose Flores-Medina of raping a teenage girl.
The jury also found Flores-Medina guilty of unlawful contact with a minor and corruption of a minor.
The victim, now 18, testified at trial that Flores-Medina forced himself on her while covering her mouth during the April 2015 rape at his home in Lancaster city.
His bond is set at $1 million dollars. He had been free on bail through the trial.
The sentencing date has not been set. He could face up to 47 years behind bars, prosecutors said.
