Police arrest Subway robber within minutes

SPRING GARDEN TWP, Pa.– Police in York County made a quick arrest Sunday afternoon, after nabbing a man just minutes after he allegedly robbed a Subway restaurant.

York County 911 said the robbery occurred around 11:40 a.m. at the Subway, located at 1720 South Queen Street in Spring Garden Township.

No other information was  immediately given about the suspect’s description, however police said he was headed north.

Minutes later, officers arrested the man at the intersection of Rathton Road and Niles Lane.
