DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. – A mother faces charges after police say her two small children were not restrained during a car accident on March 2.

Steelton Borough Police responded to the accident in the area of 3rd Alley and Watson Streets. An investigation revealed that 22 year old Rebecca Murlin caused the accident with her erratic driving. At the time she had two small children ages 2 and 3 in the vehicle with her. The children’s car seats were not buckled or latched to the seat of the car. The two children sustain minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Murlin was arraigned on Tuesday on two counts of Endangering the Welfare of Children, Careless Driving and Driving under Suspension.
