YORK COUNTY, Pa. – Carroll Township Police are investigating an incident of racial slurs that had been painted on the side of the concession stand at Northern High School’s Bostic Stadium.  Police were notified of the vandalism by the school district on Monday.

Anyone with information are urged to contact the Carroll Township Police Department at 717 432-3317 or the York County Office of Emergency Services at (717) 854-5571.

The School District issued a statement regarding the incident:

“The Northern York County School District was victimized by a senseless act of vandalism. On Monday morning, a staff member discovered graffiti spray painted on the concession stand at Bostic Stadium. The graffiti contained racial slurs. The Carroll Township Police Department was contacted immediately and began an investigation. The graffiti was removed by mid-day on Monday. As this is an active police investigation, we will refrain from any additional comment so as not to hinder that investigation. Anyone with information related to this incident is urged to contact the Carroll Township Police.”
