One of the most captivating stories of the Bible is coming to life at the Sight and Sound Theaters in Lancaster County.

That’s where the production of Samson will soon be underway.

The story follows the journey of Samson, the world’s first superhero according to the Bible.

He killed a lion with his bare hands and defeated a thousand soldiers, but he's not a hero because of the strength of his hands, but because of his faith in God.

The director of Samson, Jeff Bender, says the production has been more than three years in the making and includes spectacular special effects, one-of-a-kind set designs, more than 50 actors as well as dozens of live animals on stage.

Opening night is Saturday March 12th.
