ANNVILLE, Pa. -- Members of the FOX43 team joined other local television personalities on the ice rink to help raise awareness for autism.

FOX43's Chris Hoffman, Leah Kirstein, Andrea Michaels, Chris Garrett, and Amy Lutz participated in Broomball for Autism as Klick Lewis Arena.

The Hershey Bears Boosters arranged the event.

Money raised goes toward the Autism Society Greater Harrisburg Area.

"It's a great thing to get the autism community together," said event organizer Brian Whitman. "If anybody has questions about autism, or maybe just found out a grandchild or daughter or son has autism, there people here you can come talk to. This is the place to come to talk about it. The Autism Society is here.

"We decided 5 years ago to give the money to them by doing something we love to play."

In addition to the Broomball matches, folks could take part in raffles to win gift cards, tickets, sports memorabilia, and other prizes.
