Lancaster school bus crash

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. – Emergency crews to respond to crash involving a school bus. It happened just before 4:00 pm on Stony Battery Road, at the intersection of Briarwood Boulevard in West Hempfield Township.

The bus from the Hempfield School District with 10 students on board, for unknown reasons swerved off the road and slammed into a utility pole.  The force of the impact sheared the pole in half leaving wires dangling.  All 10 students were reportedly uninjured.

West Hempfield Township Police say they will be reviewing the video from the on board camera on the bus to help determine exactly what happened.
