NORTH MIDDLETON TWP, Pa – A Pittsburgh man was killed after he crashed into the back of a camper trailer Thursday night along the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
Police identified the man as 29-year-old Daniel A. Pressley.
Pressley was driving a 2001 Mitsubishi Mirage and failed to see the slow moving camper using four-way flashers in the eastbound right lane at mile marker 222.2 in Carlisle.
Pressley was driving above the maximum speed limit in a construction zone at 55 mph, while the camper was traveling below the speed limit at around 45 mph, police said
Pressley died at the scene after his car became lodged under the camper.
The driver towing the camper, 59-year-old Marian Panczyszyn of Littleton, Colorado, sustained minor injuries.
