MANCHESTER, Pa. - If you've always wanted to say oui to hosting an international student from France, a local group is in dire need of hosts who can do this at the end of the month or also this summer.

“Their goal is to learn English,” Debi Damon, a local coordinator with Horizons du Monde, said. “You don't need to speak French at all to host a student because they are coming with at least a few years of English.”

Damon is looking for host families who can host teenage French students who will be staying in the area. The students will be here from March 29 to April 6, but Damon is also looking for hosts who can provide for students this summer as well.

"It's a great educational experience for local families because you get to travel and learn a new culture without leaving your living room," she said.

Hosts are expected to provide a bed, meals and transportation to local drop-off points for student activities.
