Man arrested for child porn in Carlisle

CARLISLE, Pa –A Carlisle man is arrested after police say they found numerous files of pornographic images and videos of children on his computer. Police investigated  John “Scott” Mattern after receiving a tip from his girlfriend, according to court documents. Mattern was charged with three counts of Child Pornography and Criminal use of a Communication Facility. He was arraigned on the charges and released after posting $5,000 bail. Police say Mattern  could face numerous counts added on to the original charges pending a forensic analysis of the devices obtained from his residence.
