NICE END TO WEEK: A weak cold front dropping down from the north brings a return to the clouds this afternoon. In the meantime, Friday begins with plenty of sunshine for the region. The winds kick up again as we progress through the day. Even an afternoon shower or sprinkle is possible, not everyone sees it. Afternoon highs are in the middle to upper 50s.
WEEKEND OUTLOOK: Skies dry out for Saturday, with plenty of sun to begin the day. However, the clouds build through the day as our next storm system develops to our south. It’s a bit on the chilly side, however, with readings in the lower to middle 40s. Sunday’s storm system brings a mixture of rain and snow. The system tracks far enough to the south and east that little accumulations, if any are expected. Also, at this time of year, more daylight and a stronger sun angle makes it difficult to stick, especially with temperatures above freezing. Therefore, most of the accumulations will occur on grassy areas. It’s chillier, with readings in the 30s.
NEXT WEEK: Monday the clouds hang around, and a shower is still possible. Readings are a touch milder, in the lower to middle 40s. Tuesday brings partly cloudy skies. Temperatures are in the middle 40s. Wednesday brings some more sunshine, but a shower can’t be completely ruled out. Expect warmer temperatures, with readings approaching 60 degrees. By Thursday, we’re well into the 60s!
Have a great weekend!
