DERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa.--Medical students across the country are finding out where they'll be spending their residencies. This includes more than 130 medical students from the Penn State College of Medicine in Dauphin County. At the Hershey Country Club, the future doctors took part in a tradition known as match day.

Students received letters revealing which hospital they'll be heading to for their residencies. At noon, all the excited students opened their letters together. For one mother and son, its an exceptionally exciting day.

"My position is Associate Dean for Medical Education. But today my position is Mom. I'm proud of my son Kevin. He's going to be a fabulous doctor," says Eileen Moser.

Her son, Kevin Moser, says, "It's a great moment for all of us, to really connect and to see where medical school has brought us over the past four years and where we'll be going. And i have my Mom here right here next to me! So it ended up working out great!"

Kevin will be able to see his mother for a bit longer. His first choice for residency was the Penn State Hershey Medical Center, which he got.
