Police seek to ID armed robbery suspects

WEST YORK, Pa. – West York Borough Police seeks help from the public in identifying a pair of armed robbery suspects.

It happened at about 11:00 am Wednesday at the El Sol Mexican Store, 1628 W. Market Street.  Two men walked into the store from the rear, one suspect waved a long gun at employees while the second suspect demanded money.  Both suspects were last seen running away along the 1600 block of Mason alley towards S. Sumner Street. No employees were injured during the robbery.

Investigators released several surveillance photos of the suspects.  Suspects #1 is described as a black male, in his 20’s, wearing light colored jeans, a black sweatshirt, tan boots, NY Yankees ball cap, and gloves.

The second suspect, also a black male, in his 20’s, wearing light jeans, a dark colored Under Armour hoodie with possibly neon green/yellow Under Armour logo on front and top of hood, ball cap, gloves.  Suspect #2 displayed the long gun.

Police say both suspects should be considered armed and dangerous.
