Body recovered from Susquehanna River in Dauphin County

MIDDLE PAXTON TOWNSHIP, Pa.–Emergency crews recovered a body from the Susquehanna River in Dauphin County on Thursday morning.

Crews located the body shortly after 10 a.m. near the area of Towpath Road in Middle Paxton Township, according to 911 dispatchers.

It is unknown how long the body has been in the river.

The Dauphin County Coroner’s office has responded to the scene.

The name of the person has now been released and the cause of death is under investigation.
